About The Author

Michael Kruse

Michael Kruse has been a lifelong enthusiast of flying; he can be called an early aspirant, as it’s the core of his identity. He led his educational foundation to emphasize his commitment to shaping his professional journey by choosing aviation. His spiritual intuition guides his way to aviation training, which signifies the profound connections to his call, guiding every step of the process. Once he had a degree, he started flying cargo across the nighttime skies, later moving into the high-roller environment of corporate aviation. His business grew to encompass government contracts and overseas postings, flying for foreign officials and governments, democratic and dictatorial.

Corporate aviation, in so many ways, was Michael’s magic carpet. It provided him with an intimate acquaintance with the world, observing both its magnificence and ugliness. From locations that few among us ever get to glimpse to experiences few among us can ever have dreamed of, his existence in the air provided an unrivaled viewpoint. Throughout it all, he perceived himself being guarded—not by the forces that controlled the world’s skies, but by a hand from above orchestrating his mission.

For half a century, Michael lived in the air. He observes many things that frame him as a seeker who explores over five decades, addressing the challenges he confronts in life in the sky. It’s not only a story from the eyes of the pilot; moreover, it’s a story of a man who viewed destiny from afar; it’s from a messenger and a seeker.
